Creating and receiving letters
Learn about stationery, drafts, pages, photographs, introductions, and opening correspondence.
A creative writing space
Mail is designed for longer one-to-one letters. Choose stationery, a bundled font and ink, create automatic or explicit pages, and place or rotate photographs on the paper. Drafts save as you work.
Sending and receiving
Sent letters are immutable and arrive instantly. The recipient first sees an envelope and deliberately opens it. Opening marks it read; accepting Mail or writing a letter back opens correspondence. Chat remains a separate choice.
Introductory letters
A first letter may use built-in paper, borders, and stamps but cannot contain links or uploaded photographs. Declining begins a generous cooldown before another introduction can be sent.
